Jungle Week #1

Good news is that Camo UFOs “Kool & Deadly EP” is out now and it will definately not be the last jungle release on the label. Good news is also that we re celebrating it with a lil “Jungle Week” here in Top Billin blog.

Briefly…. Jungle was born in the beginning of nineties when acid house met Jamaica in suburbs of London, being the only whole new genre of the 90s. Had its ups and downs while transforming from its original simplicity and rawness into the most polished preciseness out there (take an early Guy Called Gerald track and compare it to Noisia to understand what i mean).

Here’s couple of my all time favourites from Jungle Massive and Junglism compilations that i had on repeat for several years with fatal influence on my musical taste. I also believe these were never available on 12″.

MP3 The Hempaholics With Gunsmoke : Court Case (MediaFire)
MP3 Ini Kamoze : Hot Stepper (Booyaka Remix) (MediaFire)
MP3 DJ Nut Nut : Back To My Roots (MediaFire)
MP3 DJ Monk & GM feat Black Cat : Cool Runnings (MediaFire)
