A day off from the Sharkslayer tour, finally some rest and food and a bath. The sleep deprivation was getting to me. Took a walk to to pier to catch some starfish (slimey) and get a coffee with the seagulls, bought a book. Pretty rainy and wintery down here I tell you. Anyway…

Greetings from Melbourne, the Sharkslayer Australia takeover continues. We’ve had some crazy weird (and awesome) action here, from horse races to club fun. The Monastery at Brisbane was dope, so was the Academy at Canberra, and the Espy of course in Melbourne. Everybody’s been mad friendly and people really love music. We’re also happy that Neoteric came and we met him in Melbourne, also met the great guys of Scattermusic and Lucid. Here’s some pics, from vast wilderness to metropolitan flavours (no tourist pix included). Hope you all had fun at FLOW, I’ll go buy a hat because it’s cold!

Heaps. That’s what Australian say when they mean a lot. Been hearing that over and over which is kool. The Sharkslayer tour continues, today we’re in Canberra, Australia’s capital (would not believe it), in the smoothest hotel we’ve seen so far, 5 stars is how we do it. Last night we had a blast at The Monastery in Brisbane, somebody stole the other Serato control disc plus a catridge so we had to do the whole se on 1 turntable. It can be done it seems because things went down really well (like said, it’s not the audience’s fault if there technical ‘issues’). Let’s see the Academy in Canberra is, been hearing good things. No Kangaroo meat and no hugging koalas yet tho. HEAPS OF FUN!

SHARKSLAYER @ CHINESE LAUNDRY, SYDNEY from Top Billin on Vimeo.

Hello from the Sharkslayer Australian tour aka the land of no internet tour (I’m writing this at a local Mickey D’s at 7am and watching all the creatures of the night who have crawled out for breakfast… meth is one dangerous drug so kids remember to say no). It’s pretty cold down here (winter you know) but parties have been hot. We’ve had few gigs together with Mightyfools (they’re huge here) and Douster (with whom we share a common liking of The Dream, dope). Since arriving here here we’ve travelled from Perth to Sydney and now to Brisbane. In Perth we had a fun party at the Villa and Sydney was just awesome as we played Chinese Laundry, such a dope place and an amazing crowd. Tonight we’re supposed to slam it down and Brisbane’s best club, The Monastery so looking forward to that, but before the gig we got a horse race to attend to… Don’t know what’s up but let’s find out. Respect to all the dope people we’ve met so far, the take over continues as DJ Neoteric and Beataucue are about to join us on this tour now.
