Top Billin's favorite ghetto house specialist DJ Venum never stops. After dropping 2 great ep's of original material, as well as some exclusive garage tunes for our compilations, it's time for his 3rd ep for the label. We know Venum is no stranger to any music style as long as it has that raw vibe, and this release is not an expection. This time in addition to ghetto house, Venum drops material with influences from trap and UK bass and even Baltimore club. Mix all these influences with his signature style of ghetto beats and we got once again a great release with plenty of tracks with various styles for DJ's to smash out.

Our favorite Austrian Dizzy Womack returns to Top Billin with a brand new release. Dizzy Womack is the matured moniker of his formerly known name DJ Dizzy, with which he already gained support from luminaries such as Diplo or Drop The Lime with his backward bass-heavy 4/4 productions. His current metamorphose to a more house-oriented productions don't come as a a shock for anyone who knows what this guy is all about - he's always had a particular slant playing with different genres, ranging from idm to tropical vibes, house, bass music and beyond. As Dizzy Womack it seems like he is now finding his golden mean, with a more sophisticated, groove oriented filthy club sound, including house, bass and hip-hop elements. Here at Top Billin we're happy to see our man explore new alleys, with the quality still there. Remixes come form the long time Top Billin fam member Raziek (Top Billin, Bootycall, Databass), who added some R&B charm to the 'Black Ice' orginal, and the UK/Ghana based duo The Busy Twist (Soundway Records), who turned 'On Control' into a percussive tropical roller.

Two Charming Men are Niall and Conor - two Irish DJ's/Producers from Newbridge, who came together a couple of years ago when Niall approached Conor with the idea of merging his DJ talents with Conor's production talents to produce their own tracks. They strictly make music for the club, and have a passion for house music. Releases on Rot10 Musik (New York) and Gash Digital (London), and radio plays on BBC Radio 1 (UK), Rinse FM (UK), Spin 1038 (IRE) & 2FM (IRE) have helped the guys pick up some strong support, with many DJ's digging their tracks. Recent support slots for Eats Everything and Detroit Swindle have raised their profile further, and they are aiming to release lots of new music in 2013. Awesome remixes come from Matrixxman & Vin Sol (Grizzly/Fool's Gold) and Checan (Unknown to the Unknown).

We sat down with our Irish house music lovers Niall and Conor for the usual questions we do on our interview series, interesting stuff again. The Two Charming Men EP is now out on Top Billin so get to know the guys a bit better, it's worth it. 1) Go ahead, represent. We're Two Charming Men. Our real names are Niall & Conor. We're from a town called Newbridge in Ireland, and we love to make music for the club. 2) Lay down some early influences. Niall - The first band that got me into dance music were Death From Above 1979, and then from that I discovered MSTRKRFT, Justice, Boys Noize and everything else that was popular in 2006. My Dad is cool guy though, so I've always been listening to good music. I'm also a sucker for most R'n'B made in the late 90's/early 00's. Conor - I'm also a drummer, I was playing in bands and stuff throughout my teens. A good mate of ours was in an indie-electronica band and the band I was in done a few shows with them. I think it was watching how they work/make their tracks that got me interested in the idea of producing my own music. I was into a lot of heavier stuff at the time but watching these guys play I began to love the idea of making music to make people dance. Soon after, I got turntables and Niall and I started going to clubs in Dublin. I guess it all started from there. 3) How about today then. Niall - At the moment, my favorite producer is probably Huxley. His tracks are always so tight, and never fail to get people on the dancefloor. Other than Huxley, I've been trying to research into original 80's/90's house music a lot lately. Guys like Murk, Frankie Knuckles and Todd Terry have been blowing my mind of late. Conor - Right now I'm loving everything by Leftwing & Kody, Harry Wolfman and Brawther. Just quality House music, superb production and always goes down great in the club. Apart from dance music I'm a sucker for Hip-Hop, 90's stuff like A Tribe Called Quest, Mobb Deep, Shadez Of Brooklyn etc. 4) How did you hook up with Top Billin. We were first introduced to Top Billin' a couple of years ago by our good friend Lorcan Mak, and ever since we're wanted to release on the label. Last year we thought we'd finally produced something we thought would be good enough so we sent it to you before we sent it to anyone else, and here we are :) 5) Everybody has a turning point, what was yours? Niall - Moving up to live in Dublin was definitely the biggest turning point so far in my life. I started DJ-ing properly in big clubs in Dublin when I moved here about 5 years ago, and that got me wanting to make music that I could play out in those clubs. Also, moving up to Dublin enabled me to go and see DJs play much more often. Nights like Transmission, Thrashed and Mr. Jones really shaped my taste in music, and I met a lot of the people who I consider my closest friends at those nights. Conor - Back in 2010 there was a club in Dublin called Transmission and we knew a few of the guys running it. They heard a few rough productions from us and they got us down to support Foamo. The show ended up selling out and it was just one of those nights that you never forget. This was the first time it really struck me like 'woah, people are actually dancing to my music, something that I made in my bedroom haha'. Amazing feeling and it definitely made me want to concentrate on this and take this project seriously. 6) Name a shame track. Niall - I'm going to go 100% shameful here, but I think "Be Alone No More" by Another Level is such a jam. Conor - Haha I'm not sure why but I think I'll always like "Leave The World Behind" by Swedish House Mafia eeeekkkkk :3 7) Do you you like em Brown, Yellow, Puerto-Rican or Hatian. Niall - Puerto-Rican, without a doubt. Conor - Puerto Rican. 8] My precious 12″. Niall - I recently picked up the Gerd remix of Kaspar - So Right, so that would be mine at the moment. Conor - Miles Davis - Kind of Blue. 9) Best sample flip you know. Niall - definitely the "snoooooooooop" sample that Justin Martin & Ardalan use in their track "Mr. Spock". Pretty much every track you hear these days is based around a vocal sample of some sort, and when I first heard Mr. Spock it blew my mind. It's instantly recognisable but not in a cheesy way, and it works well in so many different ways. Conor - Oh, tough one. For me it has to be the Eric B & Rakim "I know you got soul" sample that Kabale und Liebe and Lauhaus use for their "Hiphouse" track. Gets me every time. Groover. 10) Your chance to promote what you got coming up next / in the future. At the moment we're sitting on some tracks that we really like, so hopefully the next thing we do will be releasing some of those before the end of 2013. 11) Shout outs? This one's special. We've had our eye on Jaycek for a while now, actually when we first heard his 'Gangsta Luv' track, the fantastic remake of Snoop + The Dream's - 'Gangster Love'hit. Now were happy to present Jaycek's debut for Top Billin, 4 original tracks truly crafted for the club. Jaycek's aka James Cooke has been producing seriously for few years now and has gained attention from a number of up and coming labels along with others securely rooted in the scene. With support from wide variety of major DJ's and producers such as Diplo or Cosmic Revenge, and alongside releases on Mad Decent and Top Billin, we expect to see much more from this artist in the near future.
